Culinary Lavender is a wonderful herb for cooking. It lends itself well to dairy and citrus dishes and is a superb compliment to herbal blends such as basil, rosemary, thyme, majoram, garlic, parsley and tarragon. Lavender is exquisite in baked goods when used sparingly. Be creative, add to scones, breads, muffins etc. Grind it in spice grinder and add to cookie recipes. Goes especially well with peppermint in chocolate chip cookies.
